have you experienced being stuck in a traffic jam going to office from home? or vice versa, you're going home tired from work? i know some of you can relate to this situation and for us Filipinos, it's very annoying and very time consuming. that's why i just wanna share to you why i want to study freelancing. and why i want to pursue freelancing services to achieve time freedom.
Also according to CNN Philippines that is published on January 30, 2020, Manila has the second worst traffic congestion out of the 416 cities surveyed around the world, according to a report by a location technology specialist.
The heavy traffic congestion does not happen during rainy days here in Philippines, in fact, everyday is a traffic day and it's already part of my life and it really saddens me because i can do nothing about it. As for my experienced, i'm always dealing with 2-3 hours going to work and 2-3 hours also going to home for a total of 6 hours that i spent on the road wasting my time because of traffic congestion.
Here are some negative effects of traffic for me:
Less productivity of work as i get stuck in a traffic jam.
Unbalanced time in a way of there's no guarantee that i will arrive to office or going home right away.
Stress, anxious, dissatisfied due to the hours i spend outside that results me to an over-all tiredness.
for me as an individual, time is very important, i don't want to spend my time in a traffic that happens everyday and also including that i don't want to be a corporate slave. that's why when i experienced heavy traffic, i came to think of solution on how i will resolved this time freedom problem because i don't want my time to be wasted on commuting.
One time, during my lunch break in the office, as i'm browsing my social media i came across with the FVA Academy in their facebook page, so by that time i was so curious about them if they're legit or not. Even though i have an idea already on what freelancing
is and what they do, by that time, i was not hesitant to ask FVA about the courses/programs they offered. luckily, co-founder of FVA coach Julmar Grace Locsin responded, few more days after the conversation, i asked myself if i'm ready to freelancing and what benefits can i have if i'm a freelancer. then after that, all of my questions to myself had an answer, i said to myself "I really need to try this" by that time, i decided that i want to be a virtual assistant and to have my own virtual assistance service
In order for me to do that, I enrolled 4 courses which are (Freelancing Course, SEO In-depth, Video Editing and Clickfunnels) in Freelancing Academy but i took first the main freelancing course which i think will give me an insights about how freelancing works. And now, i'm a currently Filipino Virtual Assistance Academy student headed by Coach Julmar, and as the time goes by these are the important things i've learned about freelancing:
In freelancing, you can control over your schedule - you can set or customize your work to meet the needs of your life.
In freelancing, you can have more time for Personal Pursuits - You can have more time with yourself, with your friends, family or you can even pursue other personal interest.
No more commuting - you can be more productive to your work and at the same time you can lessen your job-related travel expenses.
More opportunity for growth - In freelancing, you can have more time to yourself, you can do your own personal interest and you can add up more knowledge on other things.
In my cases, since i'm a freelancing student, it made me realized that time is very important because if we have our own time, we can do a lot of things, we can cherish
our moment with our family, friends, as a virtual assistant, we can also do a good services to our clients etc. Freelancing as of this moment taught me to be a positive
in all aspects, Coach taught me also to focus on work and put my heart and dedication to it. Freelancing gives me a positive impact in a way that it turns me to always
look on a brighter side.
I am always thankful to the FVA Academy especially my Coach Julmar Grace Locsin for giving an insights on what freelancing can do and why freelancing can lead me into a time freedom.
We should always remember this line " Time is more valuable compared to money. Time is precious partly for the reason we are all only allotted a certain amount of time
in our lives, and so we need to make sure that we use it wisely. Nothing can stop the flow of time. Time once past cannot be brought back by any means - iaspaper.net"
